Suspects too drunk to stand trial now free men

Police have now freed suspects who were arraigned at Kibra Law courts on Thursday while too tipsy to stand a trial. Confirming the release, Nairobi area police boss Mr.Phillip Ndolo said that the suspects were released on "humanitarian grounds".

The Magistrate sitting on the tax evasion case involving Keroche Breweries Directors against The Kenya Revenue Authority has set the Keroche Breweries Bosses free on bail terms. “Joseph Karanja to pay cash bail Ksh. 2million within seven days while Mrs. Karanja should pay Ksh. 10million immediately’’ Magistrate Andayi ruled. The 28 years old will be the club's most expensive player in history. This comes a day after Legislature from Nyeri County Assembly rejected the bill. The MCAs on their defense say proposed law likely to erode constitutional gains achieved since 2010. The proposed amendments require a backing of at least 25 counties to proceed to next level before it can be subjected to a referendum.
