Nyeri County rejects ‘Punguza mzingo’ bill According to Kirinya Govornor Ann Waiguru, the rejection of Ekuru Aukot proposed amendments to the constitution sets a sign of the times ahead. The Governor has been in support of the BBI which is yet to present its report to Kenyans. ''As I've said before, Mt Kenya is fully in support of BBI as evidenced today in Nyeri where the bill presented by Ekuru Aukot has been rejected by the whole assembly. Appearing before Milimani Commercial Court Chief Magistrate, Peter Ngare, on Wednesday, August 28, Ms Kitany said one day she peeped at her husband’s phone and “found a woman had sent him a pornographic video”. That discovery, on top of being denied her conjugal rights, drove Ms Kitany into filing for a formal separation from the former Igembe South MP. “I filed for divorce because Linturi was cheating on me,” Ms Kitany told the court, adding: “He slept with other women in town.” “Linturi would come home late, and did not want to give me my conjugal rights,” said Ms Kitany. Passaris could clearly tell that her hubby and his guest were not having a business meeting.
