Victor Wanyama signs for Club Brugge

Victor Wanyama in action, photo courtesy Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama has finally completed his move to Belgium side Club Brugge. The 28 years old will be the club's most expensive player in history. Tottenham Hotspur and Belgium's Club Brugge are reported to have settled on a fee of around Ksh.1.5 BILLION (£12 million) for the player. “Tottenham and Club Brugge have agreed a fee of around £12m for Victor Wanyama,”  Sky Sports  reported. Governors to shutdown counties from September 16 if the Division of Revenue bill impasse is not resolved, CoG chair Wycliffe Oparanya has announced. CoG chair Wycliffe Oparanya addrssing the press, photo courtesy The Council of Governors (CoG) Chairman Wycliffe Oparanya said the Division of Revenue Bill 2019 stalemate has pushed county governments to the edge, making it difficult to pay workers on time.  He said all operations in all counties will be stopped on September 16, 2019. Siaya County Assembly members during a proceeding, photo courtesy  Siaya County Assembly becomes the second Assembly to say 'NO' to  Ekuru Aukot's ‘Punguza Mzingo ’ proposed amendments to the constitution. This comes a day after Legislature from Nyeri County Assembly rejected the bill. The MCAs on their defense say proposed law likely to erode constitutional gains achieved since 2010. The proposed amendments require a backing of at least 25 counties to proceed to next level before it can be subjected to a referendum. President Uhuru Kenyatta with census officials at statehouse , photo courtesy   Seven people were yesterday arrested by the police for refusing to be enumerated on claims that the process was satanic.  The suspects were arrested at Gatue in Tharaka Nithi County. " 7PEOPLE suspected to be members of KABONOKIA Sect were last night arrested at Gatue, #TharakaNithi for refusing to give info to Authorised Person collecting Statistical info.
