BBI a waste of Public money, Ruto

Addressing rallies in Meru on Saturday, Dr Ruto said amending the Constitution would be a waste of time. He said responsible leaders should focus on development initiatives to transform livelihoods of Kenyans instead of politicking. “They are disturbing us with these politics calling for changes to the Constitution. Let us desist from such politics and focus on development,” he said.

Former Senator Elizabeth Ongoro decision on vacant Kibra seat

Elizabeth Ongoro,in past press briefing Former Nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro has decided not to run for the vacant Kibra constituency seat. Elizabeth Ongoro while addressing the media sited that the constituents of Kibra were not in 'poverty' of good leaders and will make their decisions during the by-elections. Kibra Constituency was represented by the late Ken Okoth who passed on at The Nairobi Hospital early this month. The Speaker of the National Assembly has already declared the Kibra seat vacant and it was speculated Ongoro would be among the already long list of those aspiring to replace Ken Okoth.
