Sports:Gor mahia sends Dennis Oliech packing

The Kenyan premier league champions, Gor mahia announced on its official website on Tuesday night that it discontinued Oliech’s contract due to “serious and persistent cases of misconduct”.
“The player’s poor performance on the pitch and serial absence from training without permission from the club have led to his premature ouster from the record Kenyan champions, just months into his two-year deal,” a statement from Gor mahia's website reads.
The Kenyan football giants further said that it has attempted to reach out to Oliech without success “and resorted to termination of his contract”.
The club officially wrote to the player informing him of the step to end his contract and promised to settle his dues.
“In pursuance of the provisions of Clause 6 of your Player Agreement Contract entered into with Gor Mahia Football Club we hereby write to advise you that we have terminated your contract with immediate effect on grounds of Just Cause as also stipulated in FIFA Article 14 Regulations of the Statues and Transfer of Players,” read a part of Gor’s letter addressed to Oliech.

The  Uasin Gishu Women Rep while appearing on K24's  Punchline on Sunday night together with her   Homa Bay counterpart Gladys Wanga ,  said that “When people from Rift Valley woke up to vote in 2017, they did not wake up to vote for Uhuru Kenyatta. They woke up to vote for Ruto who was in partnership with Uhuru Kenyatta.” Gladys Shollei The Woman Rep further added that many people in the Rift Valley voted for Jubilee Party in 2013 and 2017 General Elections  because they supported Ruto and not President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Magistrate sitting on the tax evasion case involving Keroche Breweries Directors against The Kenya Revenue Authority has set the Keroche Breweries Bosses free on bail terms. “Joseph Karanja to pay cash bail Ksh. 2million within seven days while Mrs. Karanja should pay Ksh. 10million immediately’’ Magistrate Andayi ruled. This comes a day after Legislature from Nyeri County Assembly rejected the bill. The MCAs on their defense say proposed law likely to erode constitutional gains achieved since 2010. Uhuru made the declaration on Friday during the third National Conference on Curriculum Reforms at the KICC.
