Police Arrests Ex M.P Mr. Reuben NDOLO,and Six other people

''Flying Squad Detectives last night arrested SEVEN People among them Mr. Reuben NDOLO, Former Member of Parliament for #Makadara, at Bustani Gardens along Oledume Rd on allegations of Creating Disturbance & Threatening to Kill. All suspects in lawful custody awaiting arraignment.'' DCI posted on their twitter handle.


The other six suspects are:- Mr. Daniel Otieno Juma Mr. George Otieno Mr. Cyrus Nyamboga Gichana Mr. Bernard Ochieng Andai Mr. Dick Otieno Ombaka & Mr. Hassan Dima Wario. All the suspects are helping #DCI Detectives in further investigations. To be charged on Monday.

More than 3000 of contraband sugar disappear from godowns

Police are investigating loss of more than 3000 bags of sugar suspected to be laced with mercury in two godowns in Changamwe and Jomvu in Mombasa. The godowns were closed last year by a multi agency team led by KEBS and KRA probing contraband sugar suspected to be contaminated with mercury and copper. In one the godowns owned by Bollore in Changamwe, thousands of sugar bags disappeared two weeks ago. Source the Star

South Sudan deports 16 Kenyans

The 16 Kenyans, alongside four British nationals, were working for a private security company but on Tuesday, the Ministry of Interior gave them 72 hours to leave the country. According to The East African, the deportation orders came just a few days after their company, Insight Security, failed to resolve a pay dispute over salaries and arrears of guards working for the firm. “There are 16 Kenyan nationals who have been given 72 hours to pay all dues which they owe the government, and also pay our people their pensions…then leave the country,” Thiik Thiik Mayardit, the Juba deputy mayor said. The Insight Security firm was closed down last week on allegations that it exploited local workers and had not paid taxes. The amount of Money Ken Okoth's family set to receive from Parliament

  Ken Okoth picture, in past event The family of former Kibra MP Ken Okoth will get Sh32 million from Parliament. The amount includes his group life insurance cover and death gratuity. ''But they will have to wait for some time since Parliament must first get a letter from the courts indicating the administrator of the late MP’s estate,”  MPs’ pensions expert has said “Yes the family is entitled to Sh32 million before tax, but we are not releasing the money now.
