Apologize within 24Hrs or face legal action,Raila Odinga to Nation Media Group

Former Prime Minister Raila  Odinga through his advocates Rachier Amollo Advocates has written an urgent demand letter to The Nation Media Group demanding an immediate apology within 24 Hours.
Advocates Instructions to Nation Media Group
Admit liability in defamation and malicious publication of false information , and immediately publish an unconditional retraction and apology on a front-page article of equal prominence in the Daily Nation Newspaper and on the online Daily Nation Edition. The Advocates also want to Media Group to site in their apology that '' Our client DID NOT join any presidential race''. 
 The advocates  will also enter into negotiations with the media Group  of damages as compensation.

School suspends SDA students for refusing to seat exams on Saturday

Five students from AIC Chebisaas Boys High School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County moved to court on Wednesday after they were suspended for allegedly refusing to sit for exams on a Saturday. According to the students who belong to the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) faith, Saturday is their professed Sabbath Day and they should observe it by going  Church. The school management allegedly suspended them on July 6, 2019 for failing to do the allocated exams their Sabbath Day. The students accused the school of infringing on their religious rights.

Sports Updates: Gor mahia match against Bandari venue moved

The Kenyan Premier League ( KPL ) have moved the venue of the opening match of the season between  Gor Mahia  and  Bandari  FC, set for Sunday. According to KPL CEO Jack Oguda, the Kenyan Super Cup - pitting the KPL champions and FKF  Shield Cup  winners against each other - will now be played at Machakos Stadium and not Kasarani Stadium as earlier planned. “We wanted the match to be played at Kasarani but the venue is already booked for another event,” Oguda

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi hosts leaders ahead of 2022 elections

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi on Sunday hosted several Rift Valley leaders in Kabarak as the battle between him and Deputy President William Ruto for control of the region continues of 2022. The leaders visited retired President Daniel Moi before holding a closed-door meeting with Gideon. Those present included Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos, Moiben MP Sila Tiren, Nominated MP Wilson Sossion and Kanu Secretary General Nick Salat.
