Embakasi East Member of parliament Babu Owino has described himself as jet accelerating at the speed of light. Babu Owino made the comments on his Facebook page. The first time legislature has been very active in Kenyan politics and has not failed to hit the headlines with series of controversial statements.

"Who is BABU OWINO? BABU is a space jet that was invented in 2008, assembled by UoN comrades in 2011 and launched by Raila Odinga in 2017. The Jet is unstoppable since it's already accelerating at the speed of light. TIBIM" Babu Owino Facebook post reads.

Two Rugby players found guilty of raping a musician sentenced for this number of years

The two Alex Mahaga and Frank Wanyama were found guilty of raping a musician last year at the Highrise Estate. This comes despite the defense praying for a noncustodial sentence. The Court was told that the two Kenya Harlequin FC players raped the singer overnight on her birthday at Seefar Apartments in Highrise, Nairobi, on February 10 last year.

The affected student's have put blame on their lectures for hiding their marks. A company sacks 800 staff

East African Portland Cement Company  (EAPCC) has declared redundant all its 800 employees, setting the stage for a leaner workforce with an eye on trimming the company’s bloated wage bill. Acting EAPCC managing director Stephen Nthei Thursday said the sacked employees’ roles will be merged and salaries reduced to keep the struggling cement maker afloat. “We have a workforce whose total cost, compared to the productivity, is very high. Our target is to operate with less than 600 people earning less than what they are earning now,” said Mr Nthei. Employees who successfully reapply for their jobs will be expected to take a 40 percent cut on their previous wages. Source Business Daily

He further thanked the former heads of state; Former President Moi and Former President Kibaki for constantly honoring his late father.
