Wendy Waeni's mother Ms. Syombua has revealed that her daughter received Ksh. 140,000 from Former Prime minister Raila Odinga and another 100,000 from Kalonzo Musyoka, amounts which were all put in the hands of Joe Mwangi to share out.
''He received money from politicians in the name of my daughter; he got Ksh.140,000 from Raila Odinga and only gave me Ksh.30,000,” she said. ''In another instance, he got Ksh.100,000 from Kalonzo Musyoka and TV presenter Jeff Koinange each and I only received Ksh.20,000 and Ksh.4,000 respectively'' Wendy's irritated Mum added

The Magistrate sitting on the tax evasion case involving Keroche Breweries Directors against The Kenya Revenue Authority has set the Keroche Breweries Bosses free on bail terms. “Joseph Karanja to pay cash bail Ksh. 2million within seven days while Mrs. Karanja should pay Ksh. 10million immediately’’ Magistrate Andayi ruled. Uhuru made the declaration on Friday during the third National Conference on Curriculum Reforms at the KICC. Junior secondary schools will now be domiciled in secondary school doing away with examinations to be held in Grade 6 during the transition. These are part of the recommendations by a task force set up to iron out the issues surrounding the implementation of the new curriculum which has been adopted by the President. Business: KENYA AIRWAYS reports Billions of Losses

Kenya Airways has today reported Ksh8.56 billion net loss for the half year ending June 30, from a loss of Ksh4.03 billion recorded in similar period last year. This is despite a slight growth in total income during the period which closed at Sh58.9 billion compared to Sh52.2 billion. Baringo Senator Gideon Moi on Sunday hosted several Rift Valley leaders in Kabarak as the battle between him and Deputy President William Ruto for control of the region continues of 2022. The leaders visited retired President Daniel Moi before holding a closed-door meeting with Gideon. Those present included Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos, Moiben MP Sila Tiren, Nominated MP Wilson Sossion and Kanu Secretary General Nick Salat.
