Seven people were yesterday arrested by the police for refusing to be enumerated on claims that the process was satanic. 
The suspects were arrested at Gatue in Tharaka Nithi County.

"7PEOPLE suspected to be members of KABONOKIA Sect were last night arrested at Gatue, #TharakaNithi for refusing to give info to Authorised Person collecting Statistical info. The members refused to be enumerated claiming the process is Satanic & that they’ll be counted in Heaven'' The DCI posted on their twitter.

Keroche Breweries owners freed on bail

The Magistrate sitting on the tax evasion case involving Keroche Breweries Directors against The Kenya Revenue Authority has set the Keroche Breweries Bosses free on bail terms. “Joseph Karanja to pay cash bail Ksh. 2million within seven days while Mrs. Karanja should pay Ksh. 10million immediately’’ Magistrate Andayi ruled. Mr. Karanja underwent surgery and was released on a personal bond and presented himself to court today.

The 28 years old will be the club's most expensive player in history. Tottenham Hotspur and Belgium's Club Brugge are reported to have settled on a fee of around Ksh.1.5 BILLION (£12 million) for the player. “Tottenham and Club Brugge have agreed a fee of around £12m for Victor Wanyama,”  Sky Sports  reported. This comes a day after Legislature from Nyeri County Assembly rejected the bill. The MCAs on their defense say proposed law likely to erode constitutional gains achieved since 2010. The proposed amendments require a backing of at least 25 counties to proceed to next level before it can be subjected to a referendum. Business: KENYA AIRWAYS reports Billions of Losses

Kenya Airways has today reported Ksh8.56 billion net loss for the half year ending June 30, from a loss of Ksh4.03 billion recorded in similar period last year. This is despite a slight growth in total income during the period which closed at Sh58.9 billion compared to Sh52.2 billion. But he must first commit to Kenyans that in case of a defeat, he will gracefully accept the decision of Kenyans,” the Deputy President William Ruto said. Speaking during a prayer service in Meru County on Sunday, Ruto, however, said he would not be drawn into the 2022 political race debate, arguing that he was busy ensuring that the Jubilee manifesto and the Big Four agenda are realised.

Majority Leader Aden Duale to retire from politics if Ruto wins Presidency in 2022 Elections

The Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale has said he will quit politics if Deputy President William Ruto becomes president. Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday night, Duale said he could even serve as a clerk in State House if Ruto wins in 2022. Duale who has been a firm supporter of the DP since 2007, acknowledged Ruto to be a strong politician The Garissa Town MP made it clear that the 2022 presidential race will be between Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga. He termed the rest of the perceived 2022 candidates as jokers.
