Keroche Breweries owners freed on bail


The Magistrate sitting on the tax evasion case involving Keroche Breweries Directors against The Kenya Revenue Authority has set the Keroche Breweries Bosses free on bail terms.
“Joseph Karanja to pay cash bail Ksh. 2million within seven days while Mrs. Karanja should pay Ksh. 10million immediately’’ Magistrate Andayi ruled. The matter to be mentioned in court on 2nd September, pre-trial 24th September.

The Magistrate further ruled that the Prosecutor is required to take measures for older persons for reasonable care. Mr. Karanja underwent surgery and was released on a personal bond and presented himself to court today.
