DCI orders arrest of Joe Mwangi

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has ordered for the arrest of Joe Mwangi, former manager of child acrobat Wendy Waeni over forgery of a Letter purporting to be from a Cabinet Secretary.
Mwangi has been asked to report to the DCI offices in Nairobi

 “Mr Joseph Mwangi NDUTA alias Joe whose photos appear below is #Wanted by @DCI_Kenya Detectives in connection with the Forgery of a Letter purporting to be from a Cabinet Secretary threatening the complainant- Magdalene Mbele of some consequences,” the DCI tweeted.

The Magistrate sitting on the tax evasion case involving Keroche Breweries Directors against The Kenya Revenue Authority has set the Keroche Breweries Bosses free on bail terms. “Joseph Karanja to pay cash bail Ksh. 2million within seven days while Mrs. Karanja should pay Ksh. 10million immediately’’ Magistrate Andayi ruled. ODM'S ELECTIONS BOARD GIVES NOTICE ON KIBRA BY-ELECTIONS

''NEB invites interests persons for the Kibra parliamentary seat to download application forms from party website www.odm.co.ke , fill and submit to the Party Headquarters by close of business on Friday 23rd August 2019 '' a statement from the ODM Party reads. This comes a day after t he Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC)  gazetted November 7, 2019 as the date for Kibra Constituency by-elections .  In a gazette notice dated August 16, IEBC said each political party intending to participate in the Kibra by-election has until August 26, 2019 to submit names of candidates set to take part in the nominations. Party nominations according to IEBC, will be held on September 9 and 10 ,2019. It’s embarrassing to see even national leaders singing and dancing to the obscenity in public. The lyrics are dirty and not suitable for public consumption, especially children,” he wrote on Twitter. “Both songs are pure pornography. While we may not ban them because they are coded, it’s important for the public to know that they are dirty and unsuitable for mixed company. Pastor Ng’ang’a apologises to Linus Kaikai over death threats

Pastor Ng'ang'a,Photo courtesy  Neno Evangelist Pastor James  Ng’ang’a on Monday apologized to journalist Linus Kaikai over death threats he allegedly directed at Linus.  Ng’ang’a  made the apologiy to Mr. Linus before Kiambu Law Courts Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi. “I apologize to Mr. Kaikai if he was angered by those utterances… I did not mean it that way…” said Pastor Ng’ang’a in a video uploaded to Twitter by Mr. Linus, a Director at Royal Media Services. “I have today forgiven Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism for the threats to life he directed at me in March this year,” tweeted the veteran journalist. “Pastor Ng’ang’a apologized to me before Chief Magistrate Patricia Gichohi at the Kiambu Law Courts and I accepted the apology.” Linus added on his tweet.  Linus Kaikai, Photo Courtesy

Moi University Main Campus Over 700 students of Moi University are set to miss out of their graduation scheduled for 22/08/2019 due to missing marks. The affected student's have put blame on their lectures for hiding their marks. The university student's Leader however has turned the heat on their Vice Chancellor Pro Issac Sanga Kosgey and asked him to take responsibility. The University leadership in it's response claimed the students owe the University.

Governors to shutdown counties from September 16 if the Division of Revenue bill impasse is not resolved, CoG chair Wycliffe Oparanya has announced.
