Mama Ida Odinga turned 69 years old on 24- August 2019. The couples were blessed with four children, two sons and two daughters. Unfortunately they lost one son Fidel Odinga who passed on in January 2015.
Mama Ida however didn't seem to have had any major celebrations to mark her Birthday.

90,000 teachers quit teachers union,Knut

Shocking revelations have emerged of some 90,000 teachers who have pulled out of Knut in an ongoing tiff between the union and the teachers’ employer. It is understood that the fear of being locked out of the ongoing promotions and the looming deduction to recover monies paid to Kenya National Union of Teachers members following implementation of Collective Bargaining Agreement two years ago is behind the mass exit. Sources within Knut hinted that the likelihood that TSC may not honour any meetings with the Knut leadership to push for teachers’ benefits has further driven away members. It’s embarrassing to see even national leaders singing and dancing to the obscenity in public. The lyrics are dirty and not suitable for public consumption, especially children,” he wrote on Twitter. “Both songs are pure pornography.
