Moi University Graduation nightmare as a big number of students set to miss out over missing marks

Over 700 students of Moi University are set to miss out of their graduation scheduled for 22/08/2019 due to missing marks. The affected student's have put blame on their lectures for hiding their marks.
The university student's Leader however has turned the heat on their Vice Chancellor Pro Issac Sanga Kosgey and asked him to take responsibility. The University leadership in it's response claimed the students owe the University.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi hosts leaders ahead of 2022 elections

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi on Sunday hosted several Rift Valley leaders in Kabarak as the battle between him and Deputy President William Ruto for control of the region continues of 2022. The leaders visited retired President Daniel Moi before holding a closed-door meeting with Gideon. Those present included Elgeyo Marakwet Governor Alex Tolgos, Moiben MP Sila Tiren, Nominated MP Wilson Sossion and Kanu Secretary General Nick Salat. Others were former MPs Zakayo Cheruiyot, Musa Sirma, Frankline Bett, former Governor Isaac Ruto, Businessman Bundotich Buzeki and Tiaty MP William Kamket. The leaders discussed several issues concerning the region, including the welfare of farmers, peace in Kerio Valley and political trends in the region. Census enumerator gang raped in Kisumu County

A census enumerator attached to Maseno, Kisumu County, was Saturday night hospitalized after she was gang raped and robbed by thugs. While confirming the incident, Nyanza police boss  Vincent Makhoha said a hunt has been launched for the attackers. According to Dr. Makhoha, the woman was ambushed outside her gate after she had been dropped off by her supervisor following completion of the exercise.He added that the suspects were hiding in a thicket near the woman’s gate and pounced on her immediately she was dropped off.The police boss further stated that the County Statistics Department has been ordered to immediately suspend the supervisor who dropped the woman due to negligence.The supervisor as well as police officers who were deployed in the area to offer security for the census team have also been summoned to record statements with the police in Maseno who are probing the incident.
