Moi University Graduation nightmare as a big number of students set to miss out over missing marks

Over 700 students of Moi University are set to miss out of their graduation scheduled for 22/08/2019 due to missing marks. The affected student's have put blame on their lectures for hiding their marks.
The university student's Leader however has turned the heat on their Vice Chancellor Pro Issac Sanga Kosgey and asked him to take responsibility. The University leadership in it's response claimed the students owe the University.

More than 3000 of contraband sugar disappear from godowns

Police are investigating loss of more than 3000 bags of sugar suspected to be laced with mercury in two godowns in Changamwe and Jomvu in Mombasa. The godowns were closed last year by a multi agency team led by KEBS and KRA probing contraband sugar suspected to be contaminated with mercury and copper. South Sudan deports 16 Kenyans

The 16 Kenyans, alongside four British nationals, were working for a private security company but on Tuesday, the Ministry of Interior gave them 72 hours to leave the country. According to The East African, the deportation orders came just a few days after their company, Insight Security, failed to resolve a pay dispute over salaries and arrears of guards working for the firm. “There are 16 Kenyan nationals who have been given 72 hours to pay all dues which they owe the government, and also pay our people their pensions…then leave the country,” Thiik Thiik Mayardit, the Juba deputy mayor said. The Insight Security firm was closed down last week on allegations that it exploited local workers and had not paid taxes. ''But they will have to wait for some time since Parliament must first get a letter from the courts indicating the administrator of the late MP’s estate,”  MPs’ pensions expert has said “Yes the family is entitled to Sh32 million before tax, but we are not releasing the money now.
